Mock DSC Theory Test

The mock test will be in three separate parts:

• Part 1: 50 general questions, 40 correct required
• Part 2: Game Meat Hygiene, 32 correct required
• Part 3: Visual - 20 slides, 16 correct required

If you fail any part of the test now you can simply try again which will generate a new test using random questions.

However, if you fail a part at the test centre, you will not gain your DSC on that day. Instead, you can arrange to re-sit only the part you failed on another day, and at another location if needed.

Then, when you pass that part, you will be awarded your certificate. You do not have to re-sit the parts you have already passed.

In addition to these theory tests, you will have to pass a practical shooting test and a practical safety test conducted as part of a walking/stalking scenario.

Any candidate who holds a VRQ in Wild Game Meat Hygiene, or the NGO certificate in Game Meat Hygiene, may elect not to take the Game Hygiene module but they will be required to produce their VRQ or NGO certificate at the DSC1 assessment.
