Random Sika Facts

The metatarsal gland on sika deer is usually white or light grey. It is the only deer to have such a conspicuous gland, and this remains visible in sika/red cross breeds

Antlers usually have 8 points. Unlike reds, the first (brow) tine points tend to point more upwards than outwards.
