Muntjac deer info:

No closed season.

Does: Shoot only immature or obviously pregnant females as others may have young at any time of year

Antlers cast May – July
Does can conceive aged 7 months and can mate again days after giving birth.
Only shoot pregnant does as others may have a fawn.

Random Muntjac Facts

A doe will bear a fawn every 7 months. Due to this short and repeating cycle throughout the year, there is no close season for muntjac does. A doe which is not pregnant should not be culled as she may have a dependent fawn
